Michael Brody founded Brody Group Public Affairs in 2006 to focus on strategic legislative affairs and policy advocacy for clients in Washington, DC. and nationally. With a practice area specializing in procurement and legislative communications, Mike possesses a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the federal budget cycle.

Prior to founding Brody Group Public Affairs, Mike managed the Capitol Hill office of Duane Morris Government Strategies, a national consulting firm. In this role, he represented before Congress a portfolio of contractors, manufacturing interests, port authorities, non-profits and universities. At DMGS, Mike managed national accounts resulting in investments which have helped save millions in Federal funding. He helped to craft and secure passage of innovative legislation related to economic development and progressive energy policy. At DMGS, Mike supervised 70 federal client interests before Congress in legislative and regulatory policy, appropriations, and technology development in the areas of aerospace, defense, real estate,  renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing.

Mike continues to work to help change the dynamic in Washington, and aligns his vision and goals with those of his clients. He was previously named to the “Top 30 under 30” by PoliticsPA.com. He is still working on his golf game. Mike lives in Georgetown.
